Privacy policy
This notice explains what data INSIDEMORITZ processes, why, and who it is shared with. It follows the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (revFADP) and, for guests from the EEA, the GDPR.

Using the site without an account
You can use the guide without an account. In that case your saved places, chosen language and appearance are stored only in your own browser. That data never leaves your device and we cannot see it.
Account and guest profile
If you create an account we process your email address and whatever you choose to enter during onboarding: name, accommodation, number of travellers, whether children are travelling, budget range and interests. We use this only to make recommendations and day plans more relevant. Every field is optional.
Saved places
For signed-in guests, saved places are stored in our database so they are available on every device. Database-level security rules restrict access to your own account.
Usage statistics
We record which entries are opened so we can improve the guide and show partners aggregated figures. No advertising or tracking networks are used, and no profiles are built for advertising.
AI concierge
When you use the AI concierge, your question is sent together with our catalogue of recommendations to an AI service in order to produce an answer. Please do not enter sensitive personal data there.
Maps and Google sign-in
The interactive map is loaded from Google Maps, which receives your IP address and technical device information. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address from Google to create the account. Google's own privacy terms apply in addition.
Processors
Hosting and delivery run on Vercel (Frankfurt region); the database, authentication and file storage run on Supabase. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. These providers process data on our behalf.
Retention
Account data and the guest profile are kept for as long as your account exists. When the account is deleted, the associated data is removed. Locally stored data can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive your data, and to object to certain processing. A message to info@insidemoritz.ch is enough.
